I was doing laundry last night... what I do every night! Those of you with children can definitely understand. I had already put the clothes that were in the dryer in "the pile" to be folded. Does anyone else out there have "the pile"? Our pile is in front of the fireplace in the family room. This is where all of the clothes folding takes place. If we do not keep on top of the pile it can quickly take over a room!
Anyway, now to the good part... I opened up the washing machine door and immediately got a whif of a strong orange scent that was taking over the laundry room. I was completely puzzled! I then inspect some of the clothes and there are orange peels EVERYWHERE in there! They are clogged in the space between the door & the washer and all mixed in with the clothes...a sticky mess. I immediately think of the girls...but I then remember that Presley hates oranges & then think of Payton. About that time I turn & look at Brandon who's sitting in the chair in the family room. I say "what in the world... did you put orange peels in your pockets?" I was totally expecting him to say no, why would I do that? But instead he got this childish look on his face & said... hmm, I think I kinda remember doing something a little like that... What???? Who puts orange peels in their pockets? That was the strangest thing I've heard of putting in your pockets. I just had to crack up then... he constantly makes me laugh! I've washed Brandon's money, receipts, shooting range score cards, gift cards, chap stick, gum and keys before that were in his pockets, but never orange peels. Okay, I guess my lesson in all of this is to ALWAYS check his pockets before washing his pants! Sometimes I feel like I have 3 children instead of 2!

OMGoodness, that is TOO funny! It guess it's better than littering, right?!! :)
Beat this, I have washed and dried a full can of Copenhagen and a pull up.
OK, I have to defend myself. I did not put the orange peels in my pocket. I normally get a dish towel and place in my lap and put the orange peels in the towel. I wrapped up the towel and threw it in the laundry basket and forgot to throw away the peels. With that being said, Jill no doubt has 3 kids at home!
The copenhagen was Shelley's.
That is soo funny. Shelley, I too have washed several pull ups, but not my copenhagen!! :) At least Brandon is eating oranges...it could have been gum!!
Okay Brandon... It's ok if you're changing your story now... we all believe you. We really do, don't we? At least it was oranges & not copenhagen like our dippin' friend, Jason!!! Love ya B!!
