Bitter sweet day...

I'm all a mess today.  Today was my little baby's last day of preschool at Circle of Friends.  Ever.  She has been going there since she was a year old (actually a few days before she turned 1).  She started so young because I taught pre-k there for 2 years.  She has learned so much & has made so many great friends.  I had to really try hard to fight back the tears this morning when I dropped her off.  My good friend, Mrs. Paul, the preschool director started crying when she hugged Presley for the last time this morning.  She is so sweet and hugs all of the kids every Tuesday & Thursday morning when they all arrive for school.  I am so blessed to have her as my friend!   All of the children love her so much & love her hugs!

Each year when preschool ends, the teachers give each student their Me Book.  It is a wonderful scrapbook that tells the story of their school year with pictures.  They gave it to me this morning & I took it to the car after I dropped her off and just sat there in the parking lot and read it.  The tears started rolling and kept rolling for a little while!  She is starting a brand new chapter in her sweet little life.

All afternoon Presley has been saying "I'm a Kindergartner now!!!"  It's so hard to believe that my baby is old enough to start Kindergarten in the fall.  She's a special young lady & I'm proud to say I'm her Mom!

I love looking at Susie's "me book"...she sat down with me today and talked me all though it and it made me so happy that we have such a great place for our kids to learn. We know that they are taught by women that love God and our kids!!

Oh my word! Easton's last day of pre school is tomorrow and I know I will be an emotional wreck! They are going to have a slide show and I don't know why they always have to have that sad music! I am right there with you!

e-mail me at shana_wolfe@yahoo.com when you get a chance. I have a couple of things I want to see if you can add to my blog. Have a great day!
